Vicki Reinhard— School Social Worker
After 21 years of “being a full-time mom”, Mrs. Reinhard went back to
graduate school and earned her Master’s degree in Social Work, from Rutgers
University in 1999. At the same
time, Mrs. Reinhard also became a Licensed Social Worker as well as School
Social Worker. Mrs. Reinhard has worked as both a Clinician and School Social
Worker for the past 12 years. She received her Clinical License in 2007. She
started working at Riverdale in November of 2006 as a maternity leave
replacement and hasn't left! In
addition to working four days a week (Tuesday-Friday) in Riverdale, Mrs.
Reinhard also practices privately.
In her role of School
Social Worker/Counselor, Mrs. Reinhard works toward helping students make
satisfactory school and social adjustments and coordinates the efforts of the
school, the family, and the community to help achieve this goal.
To assist in this effort, Mrs. Reinhard meets with students in informal
social groups, “lunch bunches”, during the children’s lunch periods.
She also meets with students on an individual basis, with the permission
of the parents/guardians, to work through issues that might affect the child’s
school day. Mrs. Reinhard loves her
work and thanks you for allowing her to spend time with your children!
