Dear Riverdale Community,
I am pleased to announce that the $18.9MM bond referendum has been approved. The projects that will be funded by the referendum will help to provide a safe, secure, and healthy learning environment for all of our students and staff.
The Borough of Riverdale is a community that values both education and civic engagement. The journey to the passage of this referendum was the result of respectful discourse and reasonable compromise. I am grateful to the many people who, regardless of their views about the referendum, made the time to tour our buildings, attend presentations, read through materials, and make their voices heard. Together, we established a path forward that addresses the most immediate needs of our students while honoring the economic diversity of our town.
On behalf of the Riverdale Public School, our Board of Education, our staff, and our students, I would like to thank everyone who dedicated their time and efforts to helping bring this referendum to a vote. Your response is both humbling and inspiring!
Please look to our website for updates as we move forward with transparency in the implementation of the approved referendum projects.
Thank you for your trust and vote of confidence. Only together can we move forward in achieving excellence for your children, our students!
Go RAMS!
